At 30th overall, the San Antonio Spurs get a steal in Nickeil Alexander-Walker. He is an excellent shooter (40% this season) and has demonstrated the ability to be a go-to scorer this season (21.8 ppg). Alexander-Walker subpar free throw shooting was a concern for many teams, considering that his game relies on his shooting ability. However, he has yet to miss from the free throw line this year. Alexander-Walker should be a fantastic fit alongside Dejounte Murray.
Alexander-Walker would be a great pick for the Trail Blazers, but I doubt that the front office would spend a first round pick on a guard. The Blazers already have Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, plus they just drafted Anfernee Simons.
