Blazers won the rebound battle.

The Blazers are a legitimately good rebounding team. In fact, they average 51.9 per game, good for second in the league. Only behind… the Milwaukee Bucks (54.4). But tonight, Portland was dominant on the glass.

The Blazers had rebounds 51. The Bucks had 42.

From Evan Turner who had 11, to CJ McCollum who had eight, to Meyers Leonard who grabbed five, everyone on the Blazers fought to limit the Bucks’ second chance points and push the pace.

When the Blazers control the glass like this, they are hard to beat. They attack when the defense is out of position, and more possessions mean their turnovers potentially matter less.
