Three-Point Shooting

The Trail Blazers have many capable three-point shooters are on their roster including Lillard, CJ McCollum, Nik Stauskas, and Seth Curry.

However, Portland went 6-35 from the three-point line last night against the Lakers, which equates to 17.1%. Everyone on the team seemed to struggle to make open threes even Lillard and McCollum who went a combined 4-17 from three.

This should not be a problem moving forward. The Blazers have been shooting the ball well from three all season long. In fact, the Blazers made 18 threes and shot 51.4% from downtown in their previous game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Blazers were still able to generate open looks last night. Every team has days where they struggle to shoot the basketball every now and then.

Portland should be extra locked in from deep tonight against the Timberwolves.
