Well, it had to happen at some point, right? The Portland Trail Blazers took their first loss of the season from the Washington Wizards in overtime, 125-124.
The box score tells the story of an exciting, must-see game. But the first three-and-a-half quarters tell a different story… Both teams struggled mightily from deep, were clumsy in transition, and had star players in CJ McCollum and John Wall who shot horribly from the field.
But if you tuned in towards the burning embers of the fourth quarter, then congratulations! This was one of the best Blazers games of the season – even if they did come up short.
