Portland started the season off with a bang, extending their winning streak over the Lakers by defeating LeBron’s team 128-119. The win was a huge boost for the Blazers, setting them on the right path for the rest of the season. Portland quickly followed up the win with a 121-108 win over the San Antonio Spurs. Portland has had their way on offense this season, their 124.5 points per game is good for fourth best in the Association.

The Blazers are once again being led by their backcourt tandem of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. The tandem averages 51 points per game combined, leading the team’s high flying offense. Nik Stauskas has proven to be a fantastic asset off the bench, scoring a career high 24 points in the win over the Lakers.

Portland (2-0) hosts the Washington Wizards tonight before traveling to face the Orlando Magic on Wednesday and the Miami Heat on Friday.
