After missing all of last season, Seth Curry has a chance to help the Blazers bench with its three-point shooting, as well as avoid joining his seventh team in six years. Here are his five goals for next season.

Seth Curry, the undrafted younger brother of Steph Curry, played four total games across his first two seasons. Following the rough start to his NBA career, he started to gain his footing by suiting up in 44 games with the Sacramento Kings in 2015-2016.

Then, on his fifth team in four years as a professional, Curry finally had the chance to prove that he could shoot the ball. In 2016-2017, he averaged 12.8 points, 2.7 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.0 threes per game. The guard recorded these numbers efficiently, playing 29.0 minutes per game and shooting 48.1% from the field and 42.5% from three.

As Curry spread his wings for the first time, an unfortunate left leg injury sidelined him for the entire next season. He entered free agency a major question mark – 118 games over four seasons on five different rosters isn’t comforting.

Despite shooting to the Curry family name’s standards, few teams were willing to pay for the guard. Portland, an organization pinched for money, took advantage of the cheap potential and signed him to a two-year, partially guaranteed deal worth $5.5 million.

Here are five goals for the guard return to form after sitting an entire 82-game campaign and immediately contribute to the team.
