Zach Collins returned to the Summer League for two games before injuring his ankle. In those games, he played well but not up to the Blazers expectations.

The Portland Trail Blazers moved to 3-0 in Summer League play this afternoon. They held off a late fourth quarter run by the San Antonio Spurs to win, 95-89.

Winning all three games was expected out of a Blazers team fielding five players with NBA experience.

Besides the two rookies, Rip City fans were most excited to watch Zach Collins shred the lower competition. A right ankle sprain cut his Summer League short, though. He sat out against the Spurs on Tuesday and will likely miss the tournament games as well.

In the two matchups he did participate in, Collins showed significant developments to his game. At the same time, he fell back on some bad habits from his rookie season with Portland.
