Cliff Robinson, a second-round draft pick out of UConn in 1989, played eight seasons in Portland, averaging 16.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and 1.1 steals per game. He was the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year in 1993. And during his single All-Star season in 1994, the 6-foot-10-inch Robinson scored 20.1 points and snared 6.7 rebounds per game.

Robinson had an 18-season career and is 13th on the NBA’s all-time games-played list with 1,380. He’s fourth on the Blazers’ all-time points list with 10,405; 10th on the Blazers’ all-time rebounds list with 3,352; sixth on the Blazers’ all-time steals list with 696; 10th on the Blazers’ all-time win shares list; and second on the Blazers’ all-time blocks list with 726.

Whew!

And now that his playing days are finally over, Robinson has become an advocate for marijuana policy reform. He also has a line of “Uncle Cliffy sports cannabis products.”
