Willy Hernangomez wants out of New York – Blazers should be interested

The Portland Trail Blazers need to make a trade to become more than just another fringe playoff team.
The NBA trade deadline is swiftly approaching.
As far as we know, the Blazers are not involved in any trade talks yet. But this season’s mediocrity should call for an attempt to improve the current roster.
Portland won seven of eight to end January, but proceeded to lose three straight on the road. Not being able to compete with the likes of Toronto, Boston (without Kyrie Irving), and Detroit shows how much the Blazers still need in order to be elite.
While the DeAndre Jordan rumors circle, Blazers management should continue looking elsewhere in case he’s unattainable.
