Damian Lillard’s fourth signature shoe, the Dame 4, has been released on the adidas website and the verdict is in: They’re clean.

After three previous installations, Damian Lillard is back with his Dame basketball shoe. Here’s a look at one of the new colorways of the Dame 4:

A white, black and red colorway is already on adidas.com.  Here’s a shot from Bleacher Report Kicks on Twitter:

The issue with the Dame 3 was the off-kilter tongue on the outside of the shoe, which made the shoes look like they weren’t on straight, even if you were wearing them normally.

The Dame 4, however, seems to have corrected every issue from the year before, and made some huge strides.

For one, the shoes just look really good in all the colorways we’ve seen so far. The classic red and white is a good look, and the snakeskin looks really clean in all-white.

The addition of the adidas logo on the side is a nice touch, as the logo didn’t feature on the side of the Dame 1, 2 or 3. It’s a slightly underlooked feature that left the previous shoes in the series looking a little bit bare.

That’s not to say the others weren’t sharp-looking shoes. As an owner of the Dame 2, I’ll vouch for that shoe personally.

The above colorway of the Dame 2 is the same shoe I use for my recreational basketball needs, but the Dame 4 looks even sharper and effective.

The only complaint about the Dame 2, in my opinion, is that the shoes feel a little bit heavy sometimes. They’re very comfortable, but the Dame 4 looks like it could feel even better.

The elastic top that fits to a player’s ankle looks very sharp and adds to the comfort factor.

Overall, the shoes look lighter, more comfortable and much more stylish than the Dame 3. It’s looking like the best shoe in the series yet.

Blazer fans will hope the lighter shoe brings Dame to an All-Star Game appearance and a playoff spot to the team.

You know what they say: Look good, play good.
