Carlos A. Loyola

If you’re browsing through Blazer fan forums on Facebook, you’ll surely stumble across Carlos.

His high focus on, and nonstop discussion of, Portland is some of the more concise thinking you’ll find. Carlos takes in both sides of an argument, and boils situations down accordingly to his vast knowledge of the team.

Should the Blazers package certain players together for a certain trade? Would Carmelo Anthony have a significant-enough impact for the Blazers to compete out West?

Many discussions similar to those go down in the Trail Blazers Fan Forum and Blazers Nation page on Facebook, where you can witness Carlos giving his very well constructed “two cents.”

Carlos is also an internationally born fan, making his stamp in Rip City even bigger. Keep up the fantastic work, Rip City Los, and thanks for what you do.

How long have you been a Blazer fan?

Since I came to the U. S. from Lima, Perú, which is where I was born.

What is your first/earliest Blazer-related memory?

One of my favorite Blazers, may he rest in peace, Drazen Petrovic, helping out our squad get to the Finals against the Pistons in 1990.

What does it mean to be part of Rip City?

Attending home games, watching games on TV, listening to Rip City Radio on the daily, repping the team to the fullest. Just hoping for the best for the team.

Winning another championship a la 1977…win or lose, keep cheering ’til the end.

What makes you a unique fan, while also keeping you within the Trail Blazer fan realm?

I’m a big time NBA fan and Blazers fanatic. When it comes to my team, I’m always reading, watching videos on past, present and future Blazers. I take pride being able to hold a conversation regarding my team, and sometimes educating folks.

How does Trail Blazers Forum help connect fans?

Inviting as many people you know via social media or word of mouth. Keeping a positive attitude toward your team no matter what the outcome is.
