With new players joining Portland, they have their choice of jersey numbers. But, these numbers aren’t new in Blazers history.
The Blazers made moves this offseason to bring in a trio of new players.
Portland drafted Zach Collins and Caleb Swanigan; they also signed third-year guard C.J Wilcox to a two-way deal.
The Blazers also moved on from a trio of players — Festus Ezeli, Tim Quarterman and Allen Crabbe — this offseason.
They acquired five-year pro Andrew Nicholson in the Crabbe trade, but according to reports, the Blazers are expected to waive and stretch Nicholson’s contract over the next seven years.
Portland also has a tough decision to make come Aug. 31 when they either cut third-year guard Pat Connaughton or pick up his contract for one more season.
