With the clock striking midnight EST time, and even before then, NBA Free Agency finally got its start. The deals rushed out like firewroks.
The Blazers were relatively quite with the start of NBA Free Agency, as expected. The team is still facing the consequences of paying out a ton of money to re-sign players last offseason.
While Portland can only sit on its hands, other teams are making moves.
The Northwest Division got even tougher with the Paul George trade, and that bombshell only started the night.
Lets get into some of the developments post-George as players entered verbal agreements on deals.
Wheeling and dealing
Jeff Teague signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a three-year deal:
Former Blazer Patty Mills got a well-deserved, plump sum from the Spurs:
Bulls forward Cristiano Felicio re-upped on a four-year deal:
Tony Snell, a player once traded straight-up for Michael Carter-Williams, got his payday from Milwaukee:
Shaun Livingston re-upped with Golden State:
Steph Curry signed a Supermax with the Warriors:
David West is coming back to Golden State, too:
Nene signed a deal with Houston, then backed out:
Otto Porter and the Wizards are awkwardly waiting on someone to make the first move:
And Gordon Hayward courting has begun:
This doesn’t begin to cover the rumors, either.
Andre Iguodala is a busy man, as he met with the Spurs when NBA Free Agency started. They didn’t reach a deal though, and now the Rockets are reportedly interested.

The Lakers aren’t being quiet even though they lost out on Paul George, having made several calls in the night to free agents.
J.J. Reddick has interest around the league, and is reportedly fielding multiple offers at the moment.
The Kings aren’t going to be silent, as they have targeted multiple big-nam free agents to play in that new arena.
