Top 10 Wins from the Blazers’ Magnificent and Mad March
7.) Big Nurk’s Big Game Against 76ers
Like the games to start this list, a lowly opponent in the ‘6ers was set to take on Portland.
In those games, Portland ran away; but the 76ers had no interest in laying down.
The Philly equivalent to a Big 3 in Dario Saric, Robert Covington and Jahlil Okafor had 68 points combined. Saric led with 28 points, while Covington added 13 rebounds to his 244-point outing.
For the Blazers, their Big 3 took the challenge head on.
McCollum, Lillard and Nurkić poured in 75 points combined. While Lillard and McCollum scored 24 and 23 respectively, it was Big Nurk who shined brightest.
The former Nuggets big man had 28 points and 20 rebounds. He wasn’t done there, though, as he coupled his career night with eight assists and six blocks. Not known for his free throw shooting, the young center went 10-13 from the line.
With Nurkić leading the charge, the Blazers eked out an overtime win at home—avoiding a potential set-back.
