3.) Baby Dame DOLLA Shows His Potential
The legend of Lillard started way back in his rookie year. While he was on his way to a Rookie of the Year award, Lillard faced No.1 overall pick Anthony Davis in Portland.
With the game tied, coach Stotts drew up an inbound play to perfection to free up his rookie guard. Lillard catches, leans, fires and sinks the shot as the buzzer sounds.
All props go to Stotts for drawing up, but the play is run to perfection by Luke Babbitt. He gets himself in just the right spot, handing off to Dame with enough room to avoid Ryan Anderson and his outstretched hand.
Lillard is now concluding his fifth year and watching that play makes me feel old.
