#1: Russell Westbrook (Thunder)

Career Stats: 21.5 PPG / 7.6 APG / 5.6 RPG

If you didn’t see this one coming, you don’t watch enough of the NBA. Russell Westbrook is not only the best player in the Northwest division, but one of the best players in the entire league. His combination of elite athleticism, passion, and undeniable strength make him one of the truly unstoppable players in the league. If Karl-Anthony Towns is a double-double waiting to happen, Westbrook is a triple-double waiting to happen.

With Durant off to the Bay Area, Westbrook will have the opportunity to expand his role as the team leader of the Thunder. It would be unwise to sleep on OKC just because Durant left, as Westbrook is capable of leading a team on his own. As long as they have #0 on their roster, the Thunder will be alright. However, he could be on his way out of the Division. Lillard and Towns would undoubtedly be the royalty of the Northwest Division if he does get moved.
