Just Missed: Andrew Wiggins (Timberwolves)

Career Stats: 18.8 PPG / 2.0 APG / 3.6 RPG

Drafted number one overall back in 2014, Wiggins was a surprise addition to the Northwest Division when Cleveland shipped him off to Minnesota for Kevin Love. Even with the taste of champagne still lurking, I’m sure the Cavaliers front office is regretting that move. While Wiggins might never live up to his “LeBron James” projection coming out of high school, he is still one of the most talented players the NBA has to offer. Oh and did I mention he’s only 21 years old? Wiggins to could easily top this list in the not-so-distant future. For right now, his game is a little too vanilla to be considered with the players on this list.

Just Missed: Derrick Favors (Jazz)

Career Stats: 11.7 PPG / 7.3 RPG / 1.4 APG

Derrick Favors’ career numbers do not do him proper justice. Once Paul Millsap and Al Jefferson left the Jazz in 2013, his numbers have exploded to 15.2 PPG and 8.3 RPG. Since their departure, Favors has developed into one of the best power forwards in the NBA. His combination of both offensive ability and defensive awareness (1.5 BPG) are something no other power forward in the division has. Still, it wasn’t enough to sneak into the top five.

Next: Number Five: CJ McCollum
