3. Al-Farouq Aminu

Playoff Stats: 14.6 PPG / 8.6 RPG / 1.8 APG

With every game that passed by, my disbelief grew. Al-Farouq Aminu was hitting shots and hitting them consistently game after game. It was something he couldn’t provide in the regular season. Sure, he had his various bursts of brilliant offensive play, but for the most part, he was a pedestrian player on the offensive side of the court.

Perhaps the playoffs brought out the very best in Aminu, who broke out with Dallas at this time last season. Outside of his scoring, he showed that he is one of the few players that can guard Draymond Green. Expect Aminu to work on his new found rhythm from deep this summer and come back stronger for next year’s run.
