3.) Allen Crabbe (Last Month: 2)

Last ten games: 11.5 PPG / 1.6 APG / 3.2 RPG

Best game: 1/15 vs BKN – 19 PTS / 2 AST / 6 REB

Crabbe has been a swiss army knife for the Trail Blazers so far this year. He is able to play at both wing positions, guard multiple positions, and seamlessly step into the starting line up. He has been deadly from beyond the three point line. His deep shooting prowess was on full display against the Nets, a game in which Crabbe shot a crazy 5-6 from three.

At this rate Crabbe will be headed for a nice payday in restricted free agency this summer, but the 23 year old looks like he will be worth every penny.

4.) Al-Farouq Aminu (Last Month: 4)

Last ten games: 10.4 PPG / 1.2 BPG / 6.2 RPG

Best game: 1/13 vs UTAH – 10 PTS / 4 BLK / 7 REB

Aminu is finding his place in Portland and it is showing in his defensive ability. He has registered a block in six of his last ten games (two games with 4 blocks). Aminu has been a one man wrecking crew in transition, but making a living on chase downs isn’t the only thing the first year Blazer is doing well. His offense is coming along, as he has reached double digits six times this month. As long as Aminu keeps filling the gaps on defense the complaints from the fans will remain at a low volume.
