2.) C.J. McCollum (Last Month: 3)

Last ten games: 19.3 PPG / 4.7 APG / 3.2 RPG

Best game: 1/18 vs WSH – 25 PTS / 2 AST / 2 REB

McCollum has returned to the secondary option in Terry Stotts’ offense, but he has done it with efficient results. He seems to play his best when others are struggling. This was on full display with his dynamite performance against the Wizards. When the offense stagnated McCollum came through, shooting an impressive 6-10 from down town.

Perhaps the most memorable game of the month for C.J. was the game that he didn’t get to play in. Due to a mix up in pregame paper work McCollum was left off of the active list. This led to him having to watch the Trail Blazers fall to the Clippers from the sidelines. It will be very interesting when the Portland faces LA again in March. I’m thinking McCollum might have a little something special for Doc Rivers.
