Before Sunday’s dud against the Kings, Mason Plumlee was averaging a double-double with Lillard sidelined. He continues his strong play at the center position, all while making Neil Olshey look like a transaction genius. In fact, the trade that sent Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to Brooklyn for the Duke product is turning out to be one of the best trades of the off-season. Perhaps the most surprising stat from the Lillard-less games was his assist totals. Only CJ McCollum (7.3) averaged more assists per game than Mason Plumlee.
