It seems that Meyers Leonard has finally broken out of his post injury slump. It couldn’t have happened at a more timely point in the season, as his 12.3 PPG were welcomed with open arms. Leonard’s struggles have been well-documented coming into this holiday weekend, but he was able to put those talks to bed with Lillard out. He has now scored in double figures for three straight games, and recorded his first double-double of the season last night against the Kings. Leonard had only made three 3-pointers in eight games prior to Lillard’s injury, but has made a total of 9 in the four games since.
