Neil Olshey was one of the busiest GM’s this past offseason. It is safe to assume that he will not remain idle for much longer. The Blazers are surprisingly sitting 1.5 games out of the eight spot in the Western Conference. Will Portland look to add a couple pieces to propel them into the playoffs?
The thought of a Trail Blazer playoff push is met with groans by a large part of the Rip City fan base. Most people would rather see them contend for a high lottery pick, not a playoff spot. With a record hovering just below .500 it is becoming clear that Portland will not be contending for a top pick. What moves could Portland make to get them over the hump and still keep their young core intact?
