5.) Jerome Kersey

Pick: #46 1984 NBA Draft

Kersey’s no nonsense approach to the game of basketball has him firmly entrenched in Trail Blazers lore. He is present on basically all of Portland’s statistical leaderboards, his most impressive rank might be his number two spot on the games played list.

The 1984 NBA draft is infamous for many reasons, but Kersey salvaged it from being a total loss. The second round pick from Longwood University beat the odds by claiming a roster spot with the talented Blazers. Kersey eventually supplanted Kiki Vandeweghe in the starting line up.
