2.) Bill Walton

Pick: #1 1974 NBA Draft

Walton was the face of the NBA during the ABA/NBA merger, and he did not disappoint. He was elected to two All Star Games while in Portland. Despite an injury shortened career, he still ranks 8th and 9th in blocks and rebounds. His 17.1 PPG coupled with his 13.5 RPG are impressive averages from his time in Rip City.

Walton was the anchor of the 1977 title team, and for that he receives the number two spot on the list. A mismanaged foot injury led to a messy divorce with the Trail Blazers. If it wasn’t for his short stint as a Blazer he would likely hold down the number one ranking.
