A presentation of the Trail Blazers best NBA Draft choices.
A lot has been made of Portland’s NBA Draft blunders over the years, but little has been said about what Rip City has gotten right. In this slideshow we will try to highlight the ten best draft picks made by the Trail Blazers.
Players were ranked by their career totals, all star appearances, and impact on the Trail Blazers brand. Guys that played in a winning era were rewarded for their efforts, and guys from more forgettable years were discounted. Draft value was also taken into account, but it was mainly used to break ties with players who had similar numbers.
Which Trail Blazer great took down the number one spot? Safe to say there won’t be any Bowie’s or Oden’s on this list.
