Although these Hall of Fame inductions happened at different times during this Post-Jail Blazer era, they are tied together. Clyde Drexler and Ardvydas Sabonis were easily two of the most beloved Portland sports figures of all-time. Although there are many great “what-if?” scenarios surrounding the Blazers franchise, this one will always be fascinating: What if Sabonis joined Drexler and the Blazers in 1989 when he was drafted?
