Season Stats : 8.6 PPG/1.6 APG/4.4 RPG

Last Week Stats : 9.6 PPG/1.6 APG/4.6 RPG

Things did not look good for Meyers Leonard heading into week 2 of the season. A week or so days later, and Leonard is beginning to look like the player we all thought he was capable of being. He has now scored in double digits in each of the last 3 games, raising his points per game by 3.2. His rebounding rate is concerning to me though, as he is only getting about 4 boards a game. For a 7′ 1″ center, getting at least 8 rebounds should be no problem. I don’t speak from experience though, as I am 5′ 11″. Fun Fact: In Portland victories this year, Leonard actually scores one less point then in games where they lose.
