Portland’s Most Anticipated Games

Earlier this week, Bleacher Report published an article entitled, “Portland Trail Blazers Schedule 2013-2014: Most Anticipated Games of the Season.” The list included the Phoenix Suns (October 30^th), the San Antonio Spurs (November 2^nd), the Boston Celtics (November 15^th), the Toronto Raptors (February 1^st), and the Los Angeles Clippers (April 16^th). Now, I don’t know about you, but I was left dissatisfied by this assortment.

It didn’t seem to me as if the author, Morgan Chalfant, was actually a Blazer fan (no disrespect Ms. Chalfant). Some quick checking would indicate that she is, in fact, a Celtics fan. Ahh, my most despised franchise in the sporting world- but that’s neither here nor there. Everyone is allowed more than one preferred team, and if that is indeed the case here, who am I to poo-poo her selections?

Let’s get down to brass tacks; I have prepared my own list of games to get pumped for this season, from the perspective of an actual Rip City occupant. They are specific to me, but I believe they will be more relatable to you all at home. The top 5 are as follows:
