Earlier this week, Bleacher Report published an article entitled, “Portland Trail Blazers Schedule 2013-2014: Most Anticipated Games of the Season.” The list included the Phoenix Suns (October 30th), the San Antonio Spurs (November 2nd), the Boston Celtics (November 15th), the Toronto Raptors (February 1st), and the Los Angeles Clippers (April 16th). Now, I don’t know about you, but I was left dissatisfied by this assortment.

It didn’t seem to me as if the author, Morgan Chalfant, was actually a Blazer fan (no disrespect Ms. Chalfant). Some quick checking would indicate that she is, in fact, a Celtics fan. Ahh, my most despised franchise in the sporting world- but that’s neither here nor there. Everyone is allowed more than one preferred team, and if that is indeed the case here, who am I to poo-poo her selections?

Let’s get down to brass tacks; I have prepared my own list of games to get pumped for this season, from the perspective of an actual Rip City occupant. They are specific to me, but I believe they will be more relatable to you all at home. The top 5 are as follows:
