15 Straight
End of ’89-’90 Season
The Trail Blazers won 15 straight games split over two seasons in 1990.
First, Portland concluded the 1989-1990 regular season with four straight victories.
Coached by Rick Adelman, and led by Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, Kevin Duckworth, Jerome Kersey and Buck Williams, the Blazers finished with a record of 59-23. They would lose the 1990 NBA Finals to the Detroit Pistons.
It was still an impressive season for the Trail Blazers: They had winning streaks of 10 games, plus two separate seven-game winning streaks and one six-game streak.
They also won eight of nine to finish the regular season.
And they never lost more than three in a row (which only happened twice that season).
