Trail Blazers Player Power Rankings: Week 3

8. Ed Davis (Last Week: 5)

Last Week Stats : 5.0 PPG/1.2 APG/7.2 RPG
This is a pretty big tumble for a guy who was in the top 5 last week. His best game this week was against Memphis, where he scored 9 points on 4-5 shooting, along with 8 rebounds. Besides that game though, his stat line have been less than inspiring. Yet, I still believe that Davis should start over Meyers Leonard. He’s #1 on the Trail Blazers in terms of plus/minus, and has proven to be a valuable player on the defensive side of the ball. Unfortunately, that alone wasn’t enough to lift him in this weeks power rankings. Fun Fact: He shares the name with the eighth mayor of Lynn, Massachusetts, Edward S. Davis.
