…I don’t know…whether I should applaud LeBron James for his insane performance tonight or throw up at the fact that he’s literally gone 1-on-5 for the last five minutes. I’m leaning toward applauding because 37/14/12 is s-i-c-k no matter how you slice it….but I can’t have been the only one who was just a little disturbed by Cleveland’s “offense” down the stretch. It’s no different than what they have been doing (aka relying on LeBron) but it just felt so much more blatant it rubbed me the wrong way I guess. I don’t know how to explain it, something just bothered me. It was clear the Mike Brown packed the team into a bag and left a note saying ‘Carry us back to Orlando’. Offensively, they just kept going to iso LeBron on an island, surrounded by shooters in case they double and rely on him to make the right play. And he did, over and over and over again. He was responsible for Cleveland’s last 32 points either by scoring or assisting. Unreal, right? That pass to Varejao…oooh. There’s no denying how great he played in this game as this one should go in his archive of great performances. I guess there was just something about him walking to the top of the key, asking for the ball and holding it while his teammates literally just watched that felt unnatural. It didn’t look like basketball.

And after I’ve said all that, I’m still in awe of what he did tonight. I just thought I’d spit that out now.
