For the second consecutive season, the Portland Trail Blazers Brandon Roy sees himself honored as one of the top players in the game. Today the NBA released it’s All-NBA teams for the 2009-10 season. Roy received 87 points (no first-team votes) and managed to make the Third-Team joining Joe Johnson, Pau Gasol, Andrew Bogut and Tim Duncan. According to a tweet from Jason Quick, Roy has now become the third player in Blazer to history to appear on the All-NBA team multiple times joining Bill Walton (2) and Clyde Drexler (4). He also becomes the first Blazer since Drexler to make it in consecutive seasons. The voting was done by 122 sportswriters and broadcasters. Very interesting to see Roy still being recognized despite only appearing in 65 games this season. If anything one would assume that would give the media an out not to recognize him. I think this shows he is really starting to garner some major league national credibility, something he did not have a year or so ago. Also receiving some mini recognition was Marcus Camby with three points. That just shows that the impact the had on this team spread to the media.

Below is the complete breakdown of all three teams with those who only received one vote left out:
