With all of the Attention on Allen Crabbe‘s Hair Last Season, a Seven Footer from Illinois has Stolen the Spotlight this Year.

With the Blazers having just two games this week, there has been a lot of talk as to what Portland needs to do in order to improve.

However, there is still one thing that has been eating away at numerous Rip City fans this year. It’s not our defense, it’s Meyers Leonard‘s new haircut.

I sat down with Rip City project’s resident fashion expert and, er, my wife, to discuss the seven footers’ interesting style.

What kind of authority do you have to speak on hair?

Absolutely none. These are just my own observations. I mean I have hair, but so do most people.

What did you think of Leonard’s hair at the start of the season?

1.) He should’ve run out to “Whip My Hair” by Willow Smith. That’s what I heard in my head when I would see him.

2.) I know the team’s been lacking in the crazy hair department since we lost my beloved RoLo, but I don’t think Meyers had any Herbal Essences commercials in the works, so…

3.) I forget, how long does it have to be to donate it? I’m a jerk if that’s why he did it. I TAKE IT ALL BACK, MEYERS!

After his recent cut, what do you think of the hair now?

I actually really liked it until I saw the tiny bun in the back. Now I want to see what it looks like with the bun let down: How long is it? Is it like a toupee for the shaved sides or a baby mullet tucked in there? MYSTERY.

How long do you think he could go with this style?

Not sure, but I like that the announcers joke about taking bets on it.

What do you call that style of hair he has now? Have you ever seen it before?

I have never seen it before, and no, Spencer… Do not go to Sports Clips and request “The Leonard.” DISHONOR ON YOU!

How would I look in that cut and braid?

Wait, that’s a braid?!? Nooooooooo…

Who has the best hair on the team?

I mean, you have to give it to Crabbe, right? As for best facial hair, I’d give it to C.J.

So where do we stand?

I don’t know. It’s hair. They could all be bald, for all I care. Let’s all just watch the darn game and SUPPORT OUR TEAM! #RIPCITY
