Trail Blazers, Rockets: Game 5 Fan Poll

It’s that time again, Rip City. Time for another heart-stopping, head-pounding playoff game between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Houston Rockets. Tonight at 6:30 p.m. PDT the Rockets will have to battle to keep their playoff hopes alive as the series leading Trail Blazers (3-1) gear up to knock them out and advance to the second round.

The question is – who will take control of this game? As of yet, no one has definitively dominated one of these matchups outside of LaMarcus Aldridge who scored 40+ points in games 1 & 2. Even then, the games were close. If James Harden or Dwight Howard come up big for Houston, Aldridge and Damian Lillard will have to match. That isn’t to undervalue the role players on either side. Anyone could go off, which makes this game all the more exciting.

There has been no such thing as homecourt advantage during the NBA Playoffs this year. Either team could take this one. Despite the 2 game deficit, these two teams are equally matched (as outlined by Ryan in this morning’s preview). The Trail Blazers have reached the enviable position of obvious favorites to win the series. Do you think they will, Rip City? If so, how long will it take them?

Who will win this series?
