Portland Trail Blazers: Reign on Plays of the Week, Presented by Crown Royal

Last week the Portland Trail Blazers were featured twice in the weekly top-10. This week, they are featured just once, but on someone else’s highlight. Lebron James’ layup to take the lead and Chris Bosh’s game saving block in the Miami Heat’s 93-91 victory last Monday clowned the Trail Blazers for the 6th place in this week’s edition. Blazers Head Coach Terry Stotts received a fair bit of criticism for not calling a timeout after James’ layup. In a post-game interview with Trail Blazers digital reporter Casey Holdahl, Wesley Matthews explained that their plan was to force Miami to come up big and they did. Damian Lillard had a good look, but Bosh saved the day. That’s all there is to it.
