Mo Williams, who has been absent from the Trail Blazers team to attend to his ailing sister, has provided a minor update on the situation. Of course, we don’t need to intimately know his family business, but the cryptic tweet is appreciated by all of his fans who are worried about him and his family. Williams indicated that things are getting better, and his sister is likely to pull through this whole ordeal.
Thanks to all my teammates, coaches n followers for all your prayers. The man above is truly one incredible dude. #everythingondupnup

Word has not yet surfaced regarding when he will rejoin the Trail Blazers, but it stands to reason that it will now be sooner rather than later. Williams was granted indefinite leave by the Trail Blazers on February 7th. He missed the second half of their road trip, including their overtime loss to the Indiana Pacers and their close win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Portland Trail Blazers play the Oklahoma City Thunder this Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. PST on NBATV. It seems that Mo Williams’ sister has weathered the storm, so his availability for the contest has shifted from unlikely to up in the air. Of course, we are working with very little information at this juncture. More than anything, we are glad that the situation seems to be improving, whether he is able to return to action or not.
