Popular Korean taco dispensary KOi Fusion will now accept 100-point McMuffin coupons in exchange for KOi tacos. Owner Bo Kwon stated that if the coupons are brought in right away, they will be given to the homeless while still valid. Those taking advantage of this deal will want to do so immediately after Blazer games so everyone can benefit.
This is not an official partnership with the Portland Trail Blazers, but it’s an admirable work-around for fans that have no interest in McDonalds. KOi Fusion has mobile locations in Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, and Lake Oswego, as well as stationary locations all around Portland. More information can be found at their website koifusionpdx.com.
Having no personal affiliation with KOi Fusion, I support this idea. It doesn’t take anything away from the Trail Blazers or McDonalds, it is fantastic publicity for a local business, it helps feed those in need, and participants get a free taco. Everybody wins. If the Blazers reach 100 points against the Bulls on Friday, you can bet I’ll be investigating this deal first hand.
