For those more familiar with the Los Angeles based Drew League, Goodman League is essentially the same thing, but in Washington D.C. It’s a place where ambitious D-leaguers, international stars, streetball maestros, and the NBA’s best and most bored can show up for a little summertime competition. Among this year’s NBA crop are Kevin Durant, Michael Beasley, Josh Selby, Victor Oladipo, Greg Monroe, and Portland’s own Thomas Robinson.

The level of competition isn’t exactly high, so I’m not going to spew half-truths of Robinson’s amazing talents like so many crumbs from the mouth of a zealous Thanks Giving relative. However, he is looking particularly sharp and his game is fun to watch, so take some time to enjoy twenty-some seconds of Portland’s most exciting offseason pickup.

A spin move here, a cross-over there, and a slew of authoritative dunks should be enough to whet your appetite for the coming season. The sheer power that Robinson possesses is a sight to behold, even in a who’s-who pickup game. I foresee many lobs in this young man’s future. The fun begins at 1:10. Enjoy!
