The Blazers are playing this one pretty close to the chest. Though it would appear they are off to a slow start, it is more likely the case that they are pursuing their targets quietly and carefully. There are still plenty of good players to go around. If nothing else, Portland’s interest in backup center, Zaza Pachulia, indicates that they may be leaning toward developing Meyers Leonard alongside a decent veteran, instead of essentially replacing him with a big name.
