I think anyone suggesting that Felton is not a significant upgrade over Miller is a little deluded. I know the Portland fans love their players - particularly solid players that play 'd', make minimal mistakes and try really hard. But Miller is a poor shooter that negates the abilities of guys like Matthews, Batum and Wallace to run the floor. Felton will push the pace, and get these guys running. He also poses a threat from the perimeter... And if you're still not sure, try and get hold of some clips of him running the pick-and-roll with Amare - and when you watch them, just imagine Aldridge playing the part of Stoudemire. The only disappointing aspect for the Blazers is sending Fernandez out just as the team acquires a point guard that actually caters to his game.

Everyone wants to blame McMillan for everything. It was his fault all the injuries took place. It was his fault they didn't run. And it was his fault Rudy continued to miss open shot after open shot after open shot. Look, Rudy had one primary role. Hit the 3. Pretty simple. He doesn't even take it to the hole anymore. This was not Nate's fault. It was not the Blazer's fault. Rudy can't shoot straight anymore - whatever the reason. But shooter cannot blame anyone else other than themselves. Period.

It's the Blazers' fault Rudy never flourished. First, your offense is horrible. In his first few years, it was simply iso B-Roy. Then it became iso Lamarcus. There was no ball movement. Second, he had sporadic minutes. Guys need to know where they stand and when they can expect to play regularly. I can't wait to see what Carlisle does with Rudy.
