Today marks the second half of the last road back-to-back of the Trail Blazers’ season, and the middle game of their final significant road trip, which wraps up in New Orleans on Wednesday. Whatever happens in tonight’s rematch against the San Antonio Spurs, it will be very hard to top the for-the-ages thriller that was last Friday. You can check my preview of that game for info on the matchups, which haven’t changed, with the exception of Brandon Roy likely being out after he experienced back spasms during last night’s loss to in Oklahoma City. Nicolas Batum was hurt yesterday as well, although he did return in the second half. Depending on how he feels, Nate McMillan might opt to re-insert Marcus Camby into the starting lineup and shift Gerald Wallace back to his natural position of small forward. Speaking of Gerald, I don’t think anybody would say no to him having another night like what he did yesterday. Also expect to see Patty Mills get minutes tonight if Roy doesn’t play.
