Of the 12 games left on the Blazers’ schedule this season, tonight’s is the only remaining “gimme.” Remember in February when the Cavs had lost twentysomething games in a row and every team they faced was playing hot potato to try and avoid being the one that would go down in history as snapping their streak? This game isn’t quite on that level, but it’s certainly next in line. The Wizards are the second-worst team in the Eastern Conference. Their road record is 1-31, which I had to double- and triple-check to make sure I was reading right. The same principles apply here as applied last week against Cleveland. Portland has no excuse whatsoever for not winning tonight by at least 25, even with Marcus Camby out.
