At this point, as much as everybody would like to see Nic take that next step up to featured player, he's not there. But he's closer than some people might think. Every year Nic has continued to improve greatly and he's still only 22. I think he'll continue to improve and become a more reliable and a more featured player. He has such a wide ranging affect on the game and can garner some good match-ups. When he better understands how to best take advantage of them he'll be one step closer to being a more consistent addition to the Blazer offense. For now, he already adds a lot to the team.

Wesley Matthews had an off night. He was played well by Artest. He's usually the featured scorer besides LMA. Last night without Matthews scoring, they need another player to step up. For a half, it was Nic. But Rudy and BRoy didn't get it going either. And Wallace kept passing up opportunities to shoot.

I celebrate every time Nic takes another step forward. For a half last night he did. It's a shame that no other Blazer was really able to pick up their game in the 2nd half besides Camby.
