You were right in that the outside defense is the perimeter defense. I re-read what he wrote, and I think you just took his meaning wrong.

And Portland played without Rudy, who has been doing quite a bit this season.
Portland needs to practice defense. Their defense sucks.
It should get better with practice and with Camby getting his rhythm back.
Offense should get better as well with practice.
The Blazers have had very ltd time to practice since the trade deadline.

I think they make the playoffs but only because NO is losing and so is Utah….but who knows..they may not.

I thought outside defense IS perimeter defense? Please email me and explain….have only followed basketball for 3 years but am a season ticket holder so have learned way more than I used to know..but still need to continue to learn.
