Unless you’ve been sleeping under a rock, hate video games…or have a life, you would know that NBA Jam will make it’s return to gamers this October. Over the past two weeks, over at ESPN.com, Marc Stein has been revealing the official rosters for the game. Today, the Western Conference rosters were revealed. It’s set to release on October 5th as a stand-alone for the Wii, and for you PS3 and XBox 360 owners…you have to buy ‘NBA Elite 11′ to experience the updated version of the classic game many of knew and loved. I’m a 2K guy so I’ll more than likely be skipping out, but I know a lot of people are juiced for this. For those interested, this is who will be representing the Blazers:
Players: Brandon Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge and Greg Oden
Legend: Clyde Drexler
Not much of a shock there, with the three ‘stars’ of the franchise getting the nod. When I heard Drexler was going to be in the game, I thought it would be an injustice if he was put in as a member of the Rockets. Thank goodness that didn’t happen. I’m sure some people wanted to take control of Batum, let him fly around, block shots, get so on fire he could make some crème brulée and Nutella on everyone with dunks…but no dice. Back in the day, Drexler used to be unstoppable and anytime you can pair him and Roy is a good deal. It would just be weird to play with him without Terry Porter.
