This news just coming in, from the world of International basketball, France and Australia finished their friendly with the Aussies pulling out a 67-66 victory. The Portland Trail Blazers were well represented with Nic Batum playing for France and Patty Mills with the Aussies. Blazer Batum filled up the stat sheet in 31 minutes of action, scoring 5 points, adding 7 rebounds and 4 steals on 2-for-7 shooting. Not too shabby for who Ball Don’t Lie‘s Kelly Dwyer named the 13th best small forward in the league. Blazer hopeful Patty Mills has been known to play well in that Australia uniform and tonight was no different. Mills finished with 18 points on 7/13 shooting (4-6 from 3), 4 assists, 2 rebounds and 6 turnovers. I guarantee if you asked a Blazer fan today they would take Mills over Batum.
