Blazers work out Jones, George

Blazers had private workout with Paul George and Dominique Jones. Word out of Blazers had George winning the match-up.

We’ve talked about Jones plenty lately, but here’s the best scouting information on George, via DraftExpress.com. Jones losing a workout isn’t enough to knock him out of Portland’s spot in our mock draft, but we’re going to be keeping a close eye on George now, as the team has some interest in him.

Seeing they brought George in is pretty surprising, but he does have a lot of upside at only 20 years old. We'd have to move up to get him though. I wonder what the asking price will be?

George could go anywhere in the second half of the first round, so I'm not sure they'd have to move up to take him. That said, while he is skilled, I'm not sure the Blazers need a long, athletic swingman with questions about his toughness. I'd rather someone a bit more...rugged, if they're taking a wing.
