Roy has successful surgery, out 1-2 weeks

I love it when surgeries are successful. Via the Blazers:

Brandon Roy has successful surgery to repair torn meniscus. Will be sidelined for at least 1-2 weeks, will not travel for first playoff game.

I guess that theoretically means Roy could return for a Game 6 or 7 in the first round, though that’s obviously extremely doubtful. We’ll see.

Even if he recovers in two weeks, getting back into game shape and integrating with the team will take another week. I don’t think we see him until mid-way through the Dallas/SA series in the 2nd round.

If there’s a Dallas/SA series. I don’t think we see him at all, but the guy’s a gamer, so anything is within the realm of possibility.
