Kevin Martin traded for T-Mac, Landry

Couple Eastern Conference deals went down today — Jamison to Cleveland, Salmons to the Bucks — but this is the one that immediately impacts the Blazers this season. Via Yahoo! Sports, Marc Spears and Adrian Wojnarowski:

Y! Sports: Hou T-Mac to Sac for KMart done in principle. Sac also gets Landry & Dorsey. Hou also get Thomas, Armstrong and Rodriguez.

And the story from ESPN. Surprising that Houston moved Landry, but he was probably the dealbreaker. It’s not a trade without its question marks, but there are still a ton of positives from both sides, and it’s also the type of deal where you tip your hat to both GM’s for pulling it off.

It does sound like the Kings are still trying to move McGrady, possibly to the New York Knicks, as was rumored earlier in the day, per Ric Bucher:

If Sac and Hou can pull Knicks into 3-team deal, Sergio Rodriguez + TMac would go to NY, a source says. Told Sac-Hou two-way deal not done.

And from AWoj again:

Two league sources say Kings unsure whether they will keep T-Mac, or move him to Knicks in a deal before deadline.
